10 Night ESSENTIAL KOKODA TREK
8 nights on the Trail with PNG Guide.
This is one of our most popular trips, with a steady pace and
spare time on most days to enjoy the life style at villages
along the way. The majority of Treks operate from Kokoda
to Port Moresby. We follow the main Trail, with a diversion
to Naduri Village to meet Ovoru Indiki (one of the last “fuzzy
wuzzy angels”), and Myola Lake, a peaceful rest spot and
important airdrop site for WWII Australian troops.

10 Night BATTLEFIELDS TREK
8 nights on the Trail with PNG Guide.
Since 1942 some villages have changed location - to
be closer to their gardens, water supplies or an airstrip.
Similarly the route of the WWII Track has “shifted” to bypass
a fallen tree, disused village site, or for more direct access
between villages. Our Battlefields Trek follows the WWII
Track as faithfully as possible, staying where practical at
Battalion campsites, or significant fields such as Brigade
Hill and Isurava. The Trek covers slightly more difficult
terrain where we leave the day track for more overgrown
areas.

10 Night HISTORICAL TREK
8 nights on the Trail with Australian Guide.
This Trek is favoured by those with a greater interest in the
military history of the Trail. The Kokoda Campaign of 1942
was complex and our Australian historical guides, most with
a military background, will explain the various stages of
advance, retreat and the final recapturing of Kokoda. Trek
from Port Moresby to Kokoda and follow the chronology of
the campaign and visit the major battle sites.

9 Night POWER TREK
7 nights on the Trail with PNG Guide
2008 sees the return of the Power Trek by popular
demand. This Trek is a great use of time for busy people,
gym enthusiasts and experienced bush walkers. It is very
challenging and supported by a young and fit ground crew.

13 Night KOKODA PATROL
11 nights on the Trail with PNG Guide
This extended Trek suits those who prefer a more relaxed
trip to fully appreciate the Kokoda experience, spending 2
nights each at Kokoda, Naduri and Menari, instead of the
usual overnight stay. Available for private groups only, this
Trek is more leisurely and allows extra time to enjoy with local
village hosts.
