Tiki Tu is a 10 metre performance cruising catamaran, allowing visitors to explore the untouched and exceptional range of exotic locations in the Bismarck Archipelago of New Ireland Province.

Visitors will find crystal clear water, white sandy beaches, friendly people, spectacular coral reefs, world class surf breaks, abundant fishing and unforgettable sunsets.

The majority of extended charters head west from Kavieng through the maze of islands dotting the passages between New Ireland and New Hanover (Lavongai), and the string of islands to the north and west of New Hanover. It is also possible to venture further afield to West Coast New Ireland, or the islands of Tabar, Lihir, Tanga, Feni and Nuguria, or even the Duke Of York Islands and Rabaul in East New Britain Province.

There are no set departure dates, or restrictions to length of charter, allowing time to island hop, snorkel, fish, hike, surf and make new friends in unspoiled villages.

Tiki Tu charters include all meals, linen, towels, fishing equipment, snorkeling gear, island and community fees.

Extended charters carry a maximum of four passengers in three cabins, two with full double beds and one with single bed. Or guests may choose to sleep on the trampoline, with the water below and the stars above.

DAY 1

 Welcome to PNG. Meeting Service on arrival Port Moresby with transit assistance to domestic flight.
Transfer to Nusa Island Retreat for 1 night stay in Bungalow with All Meals.
DAY 2 Set sail aboard Tiku Tu for an idyllic 6 night cruise inclusive of All Meals and touring.
Visit pristine, deserted Edmargo and Rai Islands with sheltered beaches for swimming and snorkeling. Moor overnight at Nusalom Island, home to turtles and megapod birds.
DAY 3 Sail to Lemus Island with outstanding coral formations. Head north around Bantung Island and
through Alexander Pass to Nusankelo for overnight mooring.
DAY 4 Sail through Ysabel Pass towards the beautiful and peaceful Tsoi Boto area for overnight.
DAY 5 Travel inland upriver into the exotic rainforests of Lavongai for secluded overnight mooring.
DAY 6 Visit tiny Ungalik Island, famous for traditional canoe building and try your hand at paddling a dugout.
DAY 7 Snorkel over WWII wrecks at Three Island Harbour before return cruise to Kavieng.
DAY 8 Transfer to airport for flight to Port Moresby and onward departure flight.

In Kavieng 4 adults share quad, 3 adults share triple, 2 adults share twin and 1 adult single room.
Kavieng is equatorial and warm year round, with water temperatures ranging from 28-30°. Surf Season is from early November to late April, which coincides with the North West monsoon, during which days are usually fine, with a daily down pour of rain in the late afternoon or evening, with light, variable winds. From June to September, New Ireland receives the end of the South East Trade Winds which have made their way up from the east coast of Australia. On reaching New Ireland, the winds have diminished in strength, but offer fantastic sailing conditions amongst the sheltered waters of the islands.
